Early childcare services: Mount Albert Day Nursery, 1947

These children attending the Mount Albert Day Nursery in Auckland are about to go for a trip in the nursery van in 1947. Trainee teacher Kathleen Howell (left) is helping the children into the van. The other woman, Mrs Lawson, was the driver.
