White Ribbon Campaign: handing out ribbons

Worldwide, supporters of the White Ribbon Campaign wear white ribbons on 25 November each year to show their support for eradication of violence against women. In New Zealand the campaign has attracted support from some well-known men, including prominent sportsmen. Here Warriors rugby league team members Alehana Mara (right) and Ben Matulino hand out white ribbons to members of the public on 25 November 2009.
