Kinleith pulp and paper mill

Kinleith pulp and paper mill

The huge pulp and paper mill at Kinleith, near Tokoroa, was built by New Zealand Forest Products in the early 1950s to process wood from south Waikato exotic forests. The mill expanded considerably in the 1960s and 1970s, when the workforce reached its peak.
