Dunedin (3rd of 3)


The Otago gold rushes, beginning in the 1860s, propelled Dunedin briefly into the front rank of New Zealand’s cities. It soon lost this position, but because it was once New Zealand’s leading commercial centre, it has a rich legacy of historic buildings.
