Limiting greenhouse gas emissions

Landcare Research has been investigating means of reducing the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Landcare scientist Kevin Tate, working with the Macaulay Institute in Aberdeen, is investigating the role of methane-absorbing bacteria in minimising emissions from farmed soils.
