Woody Weed

Introduced to New Zealand in October 2003, Woody Weed is the mascot for Weedbusters. Weedbusters is made up of the Department of Conservation, regional councils, the Nursery and Garden Industry Association, and others who are working to address New Zealand’s weed problem. Woody educates people about the threat that weeds pose to the environment.
