First settlers

William ‘Okiwi’ Brown and his wife Nan ran an accommodation house in Rona Bay for people travelling to Wairarapa. The couple are sitting outside their home around 1884. Standing beside them are two guests: F. W. Devereux and T. H. Wyatt.
