Story: Family welfare

Raising children

This 1999 Department of Social Welfare pamphlet advertises different forms of help for families raising children. The three-generation family on the cover is multi-ethnic and larger than most households. Inside the pamphlet a sole father is seen finding a place to rent with his son. The images present diversity and indicate state commitment to strengthen families.
