Rotorua’s attractions

This 1932 advertisement for the Rotorua spa places equal emphasis on health and recreation. By this time the Blue and Ward swimming baths (for mixed bathing) had opened, and they became very popular for family and group outings. At the same time, Rotorua continued to offer treatments for invalids.
