Edith Collier, ‘Grazing sheep’

Whanganui artist Edith Collier achieved considerable success as a painter in London before and during the First World War. Returning to Whanganui and family responsibilities, she largely ceased painting. Collier painted this work in the 1930s at Maungaraupi, the Stewart family farm, near Marton.
