In 1930 R. Hudson and Company joined with Cadbury Brothers. This 2004 aerial view of the Cadburys plant on Cumberland Street in Dunedin shows that it took up most of a city block. The factory closed in 2018 and the main building was demolished in 2021 to enable planned redevelopment of Dunedin Hospital.
