Although salons reported more male customers in the 2000s, men were still the minority of those seeking waxing. Danny Smith, shown here in 2012 having half his chest hair waxed (along with half his beard and half the hair on his head shaved), had done it once before. Reporting that the hair grew back longer and that it hurt more the second time, Smith said he would be prepared to do it again as a fundraiser for The Little Fighters Charitable Trust, which supports families with children with life-threatening diseases.
