Ōpōtiki Fibre and Fleece Awards

The Fibre and Fleece Awards are an annual event in Ōpōtiki, drawing interest from the world outside the eastern Bay of Plenty. The awards aim to encourage craftspeople, designers and artists to create garments, furnishings and art forms using a wide variety of materials: yarns, fibre, leather, fur, flax, bone, stone, clay, glass, wood or any other medium that is naturally sourced.
