Baptism of Te Puni

This 1853 painting by Charles Barraud depicts the baptism of Te Puni-kōkopu (centre) by Anglican missionary Octavius Hadfield at Rangiātea Church in Ōtaki. Governor George Grey (fifth from right) also appears, along with his wife Eliza.
