Letter to Te Waka Maori o Niu Tirani

In 1877 Mohi Tūrei, of Waiapu, wrote to the Māori language newspaper, Te Waka Maori o Niu Tirani, outlining a case where a local girl was believed to have been killed by a taniwha. It has been printed in Māori, with an English translation.
