Summer school, 1987

Composition students are shown at a summer school in this 1987 television programme. Composer and teacher Ross Harris reflects on his own very different experience of learning to compose. The summer school was the sixth held at the Nelson School of Music. Set up in 1894, the Nelson School was New Zealand's oldest independent music school.
