University of Otago contemporary rock music graduates, 2009

In the 21st century tertiary music courses were offered by a range of universities and institutes of technology around the country. In 2009 (from left) Ben Hart, Sam Rogers, Tim Hambleton and Oliver Sunley graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Music, specialising in contemporary rock music. In addition to contemporary rock, their musical studies included classical music theory, music technology and papers on the music industry. While studying they formed a rock band called Low Speed Bus Chase.
