The actors, playing multiple characters, are David Fane and Damon Andrews. Niu Sila was written jointly by Oscar Kightley, originally known for his association with the Pacific Underground theatre company, and Dave Armstrong of Armstrong Creative. It premiered at Downstage Theatre, Wellington, in 2003.
