Story: Kermadec Islands

Meteorologists on Raoul Island, 1949

In 1939 a meteorological station was set up on Raoul Island to provide regular weather information for New Zealand meteorologists. This clip shows two met officers collecting weather information before sending it back to New Zealand by radio.
