The end of the war in Wellington

In the television series The New Zealand Wars, James Belich explains why Ngāti Toa leader Te Rangihaeata and his men abandoned their at Pāuatahanui and retreated into the hills. The last major action in the Wellington War was fought at Battle Hill, north of Pāuatahanui.
