Sub-prime mortgage crisis

In this interview with John Campbell in March 2008, economist Joseph Stiglitz explains that the economic crisis in the United States, triggered by the issuing of sub-prime mortgages, was certain to have effects on the New Zealand economy. It ended a long expansionary phase in the business cycle.
