These tables provide a summary of New Zealand's record in one-day cricket from 1973 until February 2015, and in Twenty20 cricket from 2005 until the same date. Among the test-playing countries New Zealand's record in one-day cricket has been good against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, and impressive against England, but less successful against Australia and South Africa. Individual records in one-day cricket up to February 2015 are also given.
