When Rajiv Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India, visited New Zealand in 1986, children of the Indo-Fijian community were waiting to greet him with traditional Indian ceremonies at Auckland International Airport. Here Trisha Singh anoints him, while Shona Singh holds a golden plate with burning camphor.
