Story: Recreational sea fishing

Shark catch

Shark catch

This large shark was caught off Russell in 1915. The boy, who is holding the rod which captured it, gives a sense of the size of the fish. Big-game fishermen still hunt sharks, especially species such as the white, mako, tiger and hammerhead.
