A source of the Whakatāne River

This view is from Mimiha Bridge, on State Highway 38, near Ruatāhuna. The site is at the junction of the Mimiha and Waihou streams. Their headwaters are nearby in the Huiarau Range, to the south and east respectively. Both are tributaries of the Whakatāne River.
