Working on the historical atlas: Malcolm McKinnon

The editor of the New Zealand historical atlas, Malcolm McKinnon, is pictured at his desk in 1993. Behind him is 'the working wall', where ideas for the plates of the atlas were pinned. Staff of the project, and members of its advisory committee, would have frequent meetings in front of the wall to discuss the development of the book and connections between the plates.
