Shooting a television commercial in Ōamaru

Shooting a television commercial in Ōamaru

A film crew shoots a car commercial in Ōamaru’s Harbour Street. Along with the Remarkables, Glenorchy, Queenstown and the Snow Farm, Ōamaru is one of the South Island locations often used by national and international advertisers. The town’s streets, lined with historic white stone buildings, have provided a backdrop for clothes, food and cars. Advertising shoots, with crews as small as one or two and as large as 60, have been the bread and butter of filming in Otago and Southland.
