Te Hui Ahurei a Tūhoe festival, 2013

These young members of the Auckland kapa haka group Te Tira Hōu demonstrate vigorous pūkana (eye-rolling) during the 2013 Te Hui Ahurei a Tūhoe kapa haka festival at Rūātoki, Te Urewera. They won the intermediate section of the festival. Te Tira Hōu also competed in the first ever Ahurei festival, in 1971.
