SPARC Real Women's Duathlon

With her daughter Tyra-Jade and her nephew Jaryll, Crystal Coates completes the Sport and Recreation New Zealand (SPARC) Real Women's Duathlon at Ambury farm park beside Manukau Harbour in May 2009. The duathlon attracted 1,000 women of all ages and fitness levels. SPARC, which replaced the Hillary Commission in 2003, promoted grassroots participation in exercise and sport.
