Sushi bar, Wellington

Photographed in 2004, Katsuyuki (left) and Jun do a busy lunchtime trade at St Pierre’s sushi bar in Wellington’s Upper Cuba Street. Restaurants catering to a growing interest in Japanese food have sprung up around the country, and retail outlets sell authentic ingredients such as seaweed and shiitake mushrooms.
