Brigham Riwai-Couch and his sister Mei (aged nine and seven) are shown with a coffin made from 500 cigarette cases by their aunt, Christeena MacDonald-Paea, after the death of their grandfather from lung cancer. The two children sent submissions to the Māori affairs select committee inquiry into the tobacco industry. Invited to meet the committee in May 2010, they took the coffin with them.
