Goal scorers: Irene van Dyk

Willowy (1.9-metre-tall) South African-born Irene van Dyk was by 2012 the most widely recognised member of the Silver Ferns, and its most notable goal shoot. Having joined the team in 2000, she was the most capped player of all time by the time she retired in 2014. Here she scores against Australia during a test series in September 2009.
