Otago team, 1864

These players represented Otago in the festival of cricket that was inspired by the visit of George Parr's All England team to Dunedin in February 1864. After a game between Otago and Canterbury, the English XI played an Otago XXII. Despite the numerical imbalance the English defeated Otago by nine wickets in the first game and by an innings in the second. In between George Parr's XI defeated a Canterbury XXII by an innings in Christchurch.
