Korean Studies Workshop, Seoul, July 2011

Three New Zealand teachers, Janine Irvine, Lydia Chen and Kate Christie, attend a lecture at Yonggil High School as part of the Korean Studies Workshop for Oceania Educators in 2011. The New Zealanders stayed with Korean families, heard lectures on Korean history, art and politics, and visited the demilitarised zone between South Korea and North Korea. The workshop was sponsored by the Asia New Zealand Foundation, the Korea Foundation and Ewha Womans University in Seoul.
