New Zealand Prime Minister John Key (left) talks with the prime minister of Thailand, Abhisit Vejjajiva, at the APEC Economic Leaders' Retreat in Yokohama, Japan. New Zealand was a founding member of APEC, a grouping which advocated the liberalisation of trade.
