Story: Interest groups

CanCERN

CanCERN

Following the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake, a group of Cantabrians formed CanCERN – the Canterbury Communities' Earthquake Recovery Network – to lobby for community engagement in the rebuilding of Christchurch. Another aim was to provide information about the recovery process and offer a channel for individuals to share their views and worries. The group's website, shown here, provided a means for this to happen.
