Dell Wihongi (Ngāpuhi) gives evidence before the Waitangi Tribunal's Wai 262 inquiry in 2001. 

Wihongi was one of the original claimants in this inquiry – known informally as the ‘flora and fauna’ or ‘intellectual property’ claim – along with Saana Murray-Waitai (Ngāti Kurī), John Hippolite (Ngāti Koata), Tama Poata (Te-Whānau-o-Ruataupare, Ngāti Porou) and Te Witi McMath (Ngāti Wai).
