Stamp-design competition winner

Hanna McLachlan, aged 10, displays her winning stamp design. Her design was chosen out of 17,000 entries in the 2006 New Zealand Post Design a Stamp competition. Hanna won the supreme award and her design was reproduced on millions of self-adhesive 45-cent stamps. Other children's designs also won prizes and appeared on Christmas stamps. The annual competition, first held in 2006, gives children the chance to design a Christmas stamp and win prizes for themselves and their schools.
