Story: Primary health care

Hot and cold doctor file

Hot and cold doctor file

Hot and cold doctor files recorded patients' positive and negative experiences of individual doctors' care. These files constituted a challenge to doctors, who were unable to control the information recorded in them. Members of Wellington's Hecate Women's Health Collective, from left Jill Carolyn, Tilly Lloyd and Marian Kleist, are pictured with the collective's file in 1983.
