Key in the ignition

In 1975 the Evening Post took a series of photographs of lax car security, with handbags and other valuables left in plain view, to highlight the temptations these offered to opportunistic thieves. This 1974 Holden Statesman with the window open, door unlocked and keys left in the ignition was considered 'the cream of the batch'.
