Peace Squadron, Auckland Harbour

These ghoulish sailors are part of the Peace Squadron, a waterborne protest group which aimed to prevent US nuclear warships entering Auckland Harbour in the 1980s. Prominent Anglican clergy such as George Armstrong were active members of the Peace Squadron.
