Mt Roskill Youth Wellbeing Project

In 2006 Ethiopian refugee Nigisti Gebremeskel ran the Youth Wellbeing Project in Mt Roskill, Auckland, which aimed to support young refugees as they settled into New Zealand society. The initiative helped refugees with integration, schools, jobs and outdoor education.
