Teenage motherhood

Becoming a parent as a teenager is very challenging, but some young parents make a committment to succeed as parents and in their chosen career. Aucklander Gwen Lolani had her first child at 17 and was a mother of four by the time she was 25. As well as caring for her children Gwen studied towards a degree in communications at the Manukau Institute of Technology.
