Export Year 2007

Kent Sneddon (right), design head at bathroom-fixture manufacturer Methven, shows a shower head to then Prime Minister Helen Clark and Trade Minister Phil Goff.  Clark and Goff visited the company’s premises in Avondale, Auckland, in November 2006 to announce a $33.75-million funding boost for New Zealand exporters as part of Export Year 2007. The extra funding went to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise’s market-development assistance scheme.
