The government’s export push continued through the 1970s. Here, Minister of Overseas Trade Brian Talboys addresses a 1977 export-marketing seminar organised by the Department of Trade and Industry. With him are, left to right, businessman G. V. Clough, R. W. Prestney of the Export Guarantee Office, and A. K. Robinson of the Department of Trade and Industry.
