Electronics factory

Tait Electronics manufactures portable radios, base stations, mobiles and mobile data products. This factory in Christchurch, shown here in the 1970s, is one of several owned by the company in New Zealand and overseas. In 2009 the company had 800 employees, and about 95% of the Christchurch factory’s production was exported.
