Kelburn viaduct under construction

The Kelburn viaduct, a reinforced concrete bridge, is shown in February 1931 with concrete girders being built towards the end of the construction. The viaduct consisted of three girders resting on two concrete piers. After several suicides the balustrades were changed to make it more difficult for people to climb onto them.
