Sir Graham Latimer

Sir Graham Latimer stands outside the High Court in Wellington on 1 April 1987. Sir Graham headed the New Zealand Māori Council at the time that it took the government to court over the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986. The success of the Māori Council had a significant impact on how the government dealt with Māori in Treaty settlements.
