Ram Rai, director of Dakshin Products, which makes ready-to-eat Indian meals and snacks, stands in his factory’s kitchen in 2007. New Zealand immigrants have brought with them their cuisines, and many have started up successful businesses manufacturing and selling foodstuffs.
