Westport Deep Sea Fishing School

The Westport Deep Sea Fishing School provides New Zealand Qualifications Authority-registered courses in deep-sea fishing and food processing. The courses have a high practical component. There is strong industry support from local fishing companies, and the school acts as a modern-apprenticeship coordinator for the seafood industry in the South Island.
